Stress-Holidays & Families

Do you find yourself stressed now that the holidays are upon us? You have family visiting or staying over, the house will now be busier and noisier than what you are used to? Remember to take some time for yourself, even if it is 15 minutes first thing in the morning.  Perform a few simple isometric exercises. Do some IsoBreaths throughout your busy day. You will find that the IsoBreaths will  get  more oxygen into your system and at the same time not only energize you but calm you.

Keep everyone busy with either helping you prepare your holiday meal, setting the table, going for a walk  or just have some fun. Go for a family walk either before or after your meal. If it’s too cold outside try a dance competition or use a hoola hoop. Play a board game or charades. Have you ever thought to ask the older family members to tell stories from when they were growing up or to find out about other relative of theirs that you never met?  By keeping everyone busy or engaging them in activities there will be less time to think of the stresses you are undergoing.  Live each day to its fullest, and keep a smile on your face. If you are happy and smiling then it is easy to pass that feeling on to others.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and make this the best year ever.
